As if the blog world wasn’t already overflowing, I have to come along and add another one.
I’m an old bloke, as you will see from my web site at theoldbloke.com. As an old bloke, I have opinions (that are always right) and experience (that is generally boring and long winded ways of saying I’ve been there, done that, and I was right). So, now that I work from home and only have myself to talk to – excepting the cat who rarely responds with anything more than a disdainful look – I figure a blog is as good a way as any to say what I want to say.
I’m not expecting to post that often. I’m not expecting that many people will be all that interested in what I have to say. In our wonderful, enlightened world, I guess that doesn’t matter. No one forces you to read this stuff. It would be nice if you came along for the ride though as I experiment and see what happens next.
You may want to checkout theoldbloke.com where you will find bits and pieces of code that I find useful. It’s going to be primarily C#, but who knows what else might find its way there. The site was created using BootStrap 3, spurred on by courses I took with Lynda.com and the excellent JumpStart BootStrap book.
Plan is to have an advert free blog. I have visited many blogs who seem to believe that they can make a fortune out of affiliate links. Not me. If I mention someone else’s site and provide a link, you can rest assured I’m not doing it for the money.
